I'm now on my third car in 1 year go figure. How'd i end up buying a foreign car being the Biggest American Muscle Supporter. I don't know. I'am not a Japenese car hater like some, i just don't perfer them. I will respect a couple of them so called Nissan Skylines, Toyota Supras, Mazda Rx-7, and Mitsubishi 3000GT's. My friend had a 92 White SL 5-Spd that i really liked. So i thought if i crossed over why not to this style. My 1989 Firebird kept giving me problems and i ended up paying twice as much as i bought it for in repairs in 3 months and i didn't get any better so i sold it. I wanted another Firebird/Trans Am but couldn't find any that i would like. So i found this one a little information on this car. It's a 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL 5-Spd V6 DOHC 222hp/210tq 142,308 miles on it. I still paying the car. But anyway the Dealer Fixed two things for me for free before i bought the car. A wheel bearing and a fuel filter. I have had two cars in the past a 1990 Firebird ( The Black Pearl), a 1989 Firebird ( Delilah). Now this car, i finally came up with a name for it after much contemplation. Aaliyah seemed to fit her nicely. Shes one of my favorite singers and she was becoming a damn good actress too. She meant alot to her friends and family so i thought i would dedicate my car to her memory. It reminds me of her, very beautiful , great curves, but also graceful and powerful at the same time. She seemed like a very humble, sweet and good nature girl while being extremly gifted at the same time hard to come buy. Hopefully i could find a girl with that personality and looks (okay mabey not looks, can't be greddy). I like the SL. Some asked the question why not the VR-4, a couple answers. Too expensive to keep up with, insurance is high for a young driver (19), if you don't know what you're doing the car can get away from you and suprise you. I like the SL it has enough power to keep up with most of these newer cars. Plus I don't race it, i just enjoy driving around normal, so i don't have to pay for expensive repairs a the same time. But i'm really enjoying the car at the same time. The only mod i really want to do it the 1991-1993 VR4 rims the car really looks good stock and i would like to keep it that way. If any body has tips on taking care of this car thanks. Thanks for looking, i'll be in touch.
This is my baby, Dealership Pictures.

Finally Got New Pictures Up, from cell phone pretty crappy but oh well. 10/09/08
This is at my grandfathers house we did some work on it pretty complicated under there.

Just took these pics, it's been two months since i had my car, but i'm not complaining because people go alot longer. Special Thanks to my (Grandfather, and God who has been there through the good times) I now have her back and it's back to the norm. ***** UPDATE 12/12/08******

This was taken today, the cars been sitting for almost a week, i think i found out whats wrong ,the ecu was fried and caused the car to shut off when you ran it to long and it would be hard to start up. First gen had some cheap ones put in them and when i heard i wasn't the only one i was kinda glad. Anyways i took the old ECU and waiting on the new one to get here, but i didn't know how easy it was to take the ECU out only took me 15min and should take less then that to put it back in. But now shes in pieces but underwraps until then. Here's some pics 12/23/08

UPDATE: 1/23/09 Got the ECU put in and so far great. Thinking that Pep Boys wanted to charge me 1,400 dollars to do something that took me 15min and the ECU cost me 123 dollars what a damn rip off. But i took some pictures with my cell phone, sorry for the crappy quality but my dad took the good camera, it finally snowed and fwd finally proves it use but i rather have rwd any day, but i love my car. But next one will proably be a Trans Am. I'llhave more pics tonight. Finally got the good camera about time
