So, the Makeover Begins...

The Whole Episode started because I actually had a little "ding" (Dont ask Why or How, it was just there one night when we looked - :->) on the Left Front Fender. So I had that fixed, but in order for that to happen, the whole front needed to be stripped unfortunately, including the Bonnet and Right Fender to match. So, when the panel were ready for re-fitment, I had to drive him through Town early one morning with no Fenders, nor Bonnet. Just a big old Silver car with a motor attached to the front of it. People were staring at me as if I was from the movie "Mad Max". He looked scary !!

So my friend Shaun offered to help me with the car. He is doing our Spraying at the shop anyway. I don't think that at this stage, we knew that we will be stripping the car for a complete Re-Spray. The plan were to keep it Silver, so we just had to give it "Blow-over" with a dash of Silver. But then we decided, "Lets Do This !!"

At this time I already thought about Wheels and Tyres coz the ones I had on there were just disappering under those enormus Fenders.

I took the Rear Bumper off together with the Taillights etc, What a piece of steel that rear bumper was? Removed the doors as well.

The Tow Piece grill were broken on the Left Front. Kept all the pieces and took it to a Plastic Repair Specialist. He plastic welded it and built it up so it looks brand new again. Got Spayed black and realy looks great now.

Thought we may as well start to get rid of that Silver / Grey frontend. Sprayed it Matt Black Edge Primer. Thought it might give me some "Distance" if you look at it when its all put together again. We will just have to see, won't we?

Didn't come out too bad.
