INTRO
I understand that most of you probly wont read this entire page (I dont blame you I usually dont either unless I really like the car) which is why Im putting this first. Let me start off by saying thank you for liking my car enough to open my page and that I know unfortunatly next to nothing about engines and even less about transmisions but I do know that my clutch is going bad and is going to have to be replaced. So my question for anyone nice enough to help me is what all am I going to need parts wise to replace it. Ive got the factory V-tech D16 Y8 engine with the factory transmision its got about 120,000 miles on it if that makes a difference. I would like to keep it as inexpensive as I can but I dont want to skimp on quality and if posible I would like to get something with a little better performance if that makes sence. This is why you dont take your car out in the snow. We got like 6 inches of snow a couple weeks ago and I had to run to my house to grab some stuff for that night and I was going up a hill and it just started sliding until I was stuck in the ditch. Luckily there wasn't any damage thank god!

I officially have the worst luck now. It hailed like crazy tonight and I didnt have my car in the Garage yet so it got it petty bad. But insurance will pay well so I will paint it, get wheels and an HID conversion kit. So it sucks but I guess I lucked out. I was going to post pictures but the dents wouldn't show in the pictures but I'll post pics after its repainted.

I filled the claim and got about $2000 so I just bought some rims there 16" Rota Torque's they should be here in about a week. Also I'm buying a set of mugen front and rear lips that should also be here soon. I'm not sure yet what I will be getting with the rest of the money but I will update soon.

I also got my fog lights today and I got my lips yesterday. I have pics of the fog lights but I dont of the lips yet but I should in the next day or two. I probly wont install either untill after it is repainted exept to test to make sure the lips will fit good but when I do I will be sure to post pics. Heres the pics I have of the fog lights.

Working on the lips getting them fixed and ready. FYI stay away from the lips on Ebay unless you want to spend alot of time working them before installing!

Finally put my vent visors and window mouldings on, the car now looks somewhat more finished with the moulding back on. If you read the paragraph at the top of the page then you know that the SPEC Clutches & Flywheels sticker has no purpose but they were giving them away at HIN and I thought it looked cool so I put it on but if I get a clutch by someone other than them I asure you that it will come off.

Got the rear lip on and painted finally. All of the finallys in the past three upgrades are to to the fact that I have had the parts for so long but havent had the time to do anything with them until recently, this is also the reason there is a gap from May-August with the exeption of HIN. (I made time for that)

Got decals for my brother and my's car club and got them on the car. We decided to call it Team Impulse. Also got my CLUBCIVIC.COM decals on I'll add those pics tomarow along with the interior lights hopefully.
Im not sure how to get the pic to come out better but you get the idea.
