Here is my 1963 Buick Special. Never heard of it? I'm not surprised. They aren't a very common car. They were only made from 1961-1963, and featured either a All-Aluminum 215ci Fireball V8 that made 155-200hp, or a 198ci Fireball V6.Mine has the 215 V8 mated to a awkward 2-Speed Dual Path Turbine Drive Automatic transmission. I picked the car up for a mere $1500, and it only has 74,000 miles on it. The transmission is currently out being rebuilt, due to it leaking all of its' fluid out on the previous owner, and taking a crap. The engine possibly has a aftermarket cam already, I have plans of a Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock 4bbl carb, headers, Crower valve springs, and a few other goodies. The body is in REALLY good shape, with minimal rust for a '63. Well.... that's about it for now since the car is being put away for the winter, but next spring comes all of the fun!UPDATE 10/2009 - Car is still sitting, unfortunantly, as I lost my job and have no $$ to do anything at the time. However a few months back a scored a spare transmission for $20 and it works, but leaks. Luckily I have a seal kit to install to stop the leakage. Here are some new pictures.
