gazzda6's 1996 Ford AspireThe damage an early 80's Mercedes can do when you do not give way at a controlled intersection. At least the Ford drove home! It hit the door so hard, I could fit my finger in between the gap of the roof and the window.

After some really rough panel wacking, (and a very helpful mechanic!) this is what it looks like now.

gazzda6's 1996 Ford Aspire After the dent was beaten out of the door, the top of the window fitted perfectly again! Still have to get a new door.

This is the good side of the car. It has an identity crisis now. On the left Dr Jekyl, on the right Mr Hyde!

Replaced the door over Christmas. More pictures coming. Just need the time to upload them!

Terrific ride with or with out a little damage bru. And by your posts it seems that there wasn't anyone hurt right? Which is what is more of a matter then some metal eh? 5* for economy all the way!

Your absolutely right there. Very happy not to be discussing Medical bills instead! But it hasn't broken her spirit to drive, so she is back on the road. All be it a lot wiser.

Hopefully she wasn't hurt, that the main thing. That's not a very good way for her to enter cardomain. But Welcome. My sister did it 3 times to my mom's old honda. She's not allowed to drive any of the ones in my garage, even though 2 of them weren't her fault. Good luck
