PROJECT: SHAVEM

Complete Shave Job on a 2001 Chevy Blazer

Currently the Blazer is being prepped for paint after a small vacay from progress.  I will have final pics up within the next week.

Here's a pic of my Blazer doing what it does best.  Good shot of the primered tailgate and license plate box.

Here are a couple pics of my new plates.  I think they speak for themselves...

Hey all you computerheads out there...

I mixed up the custom color for my Blazer this week.  I went with the same color as the Blazer was originally, but I added a ton of pearls to the paint.  It gave it a deeper, more aggressive shine and sparkle.  The metallic in the new paint is much larger than the original paint.  It's hard to show a comparison pic, but there are significant changes when you look closely.

Modification List:

-K&N Intake (I may smooth the intake tubing and colormatch to the vehicle, too)

-Hypertech Power Programmer

-Hypertech Thermostat

-B&M Deep Aluminum Transmission Pan

-Throttle Plate Mod

-Gibson Exhaust System

-Energy Suspension Components.  Custom out back!

-Completely Debadged

-Custom Painted Grille

-Grillecraft  Billet Inserts

-Optima Yellow Top

-Nology Hotwires

-Ford MSD Coil Conversion

-Black Powdercoated Tow Hooks (Currently collecting dust in my toolbox...)

-Billet Bowtie (Where the old crappy gold emblem used to be...)

-Smooth and Color-matched Interior Pieces

-KYB MonoMax Shocks

-Shaved Door handles

-Shaved Antenna

-Shaved Rear Wiper and Hardware and Glass-open Pushbutton

-Shaved Taillights

-Frenched Rear Liscense Plate

-AVS Custom Fit Door Poppers

-Ordered up the bolt in notch for the Blazer from Suicidedoors.com.  Pics of the installation will be posted as progress begins.  The notch will give me an extra 2.5 inches of suspension room after I lower the Blazer.  I don't want to be hitting the bump stops all the time.

Here are the Future Plans:

-Belltech Torsion Bar Keys Part # 3922

-Belltech 3" Drop Leaf Springs Part # 5954 (x2)

-Energy Suspension Leaf Spring Bushings Part # 3.2129R

-Shave Roof Rack Mounting Holes

-At the time when I shave the mounting holes, I also plan on removing the "louvers" from the roof and smoothing everything out.  I may even remove the third brake light at the same time.

-Paint 'er (Do I hear Custom Colors, Anyone?)

-Colormatch Mirrors or get SS mirrors OR...  Do I shave the mirrors???

-Bonspeed Custom 18" Rims "Malibu" (Pic Below)

-Fabricate a new Spare Tire Bracket or "massage" the old one to place the tire in a new position.

-Grant Kustoms Step Remover (Glorified roll pan molded to body)

-Grant Kustoms Front Bumper

-Belltech Lowering Components. (3" drop all around should look nice!)

-Tinted Glass All Around (I'm a little shy...)

-Eaton Posi Differential

-Maybe swap out to Envoy Headlights and Grille

Here is the AVS S10 kit .  It bolts directly into the factory latch position and comes prewired, so it's simply bolt-on, plug and play, which is good for me.  Wiring sucks!

This is the design of Rim that I would like to get for it!  Probably be a little while, cause I'm in college and broke, but it'll come along.
