Now that the supercharger and tune is sqaured away for the most part, it was time to support the new horsepower a little better, so I installed a BuilderBill chromoly driveshaft and a 3.73 Getrag rear end and axles. I ended up going to LX & Beyond again in Ohio this year and planned to race the car, so these mods were a must in order to make sure that the car would do just fine out there. My first pass with the car was a 12.05@115. Im both happy and sad with that... On one hand, I know it is an 11-second car without question. But the fact that I just couldnt break into the 11s that day was frustrating, but I'll get there. For the first outing ever with the new setup in 3200 DA, 95 degree heat, and a 5,000 lb. race weight.... I'm not complainin!I also picked up a new set of wheels just in time for this show! I went with the USW "D-LUX" wheels this time around.... had to get a fresh look for this show season! The color combo is actually a three-tone---Sublime face, black face lines and barrels, and the windows of the spokes and the flange is polished. I think they came out great! On to the pictures!
