i got this car april 17th 2008 for free from my neighbor.i just had to pay the $25 fee.i just knew the car was a 79 mazda.after some seaching i found out it was a glc.its got potential but this car was barly maintained.but it still started right up every day for its 4 mile interstate drive to his work and then back, everyday sence 1983.it has 265,000 miles on the factory uc motor.i got it from my neighbor cuz he got a new tarus.this car hade a huge leak in the radiator, the battery died and the alternator died.the muffler also fell out so i hope to learn how to weld and make my own headers and complete exhaust.the car has a valve gasket leak.so i plan on takeing it of and fixing that and while im there i might port and polish the head.i wanna get a cam and weber carb upgrade.i'll need to replace some little things like-boshe plugs and wires-air filer-fluids-oil and oil filter-fuel filter-and new gas(its probly all sludge now that is ben sitting for so long).if i have money some day jdm turbo rotory and 5-speed's will be in the mix.i really want rims to.eny questions about the car or me just ask.peace

so she still doent run, but i made a deal with a good frind that if i cleaned his car he would get my car running-no cost to me-but little does he know, parts for mazda glc's are hard to find,i mean RELLY HARD TO FIND.so i took of the hood and took out the radiator (if thats who you spell it) and he got it rebuilt.he said we would need to rebuild the alternatior also.he has a battery to. some time ill get a optima yellow top wired to the back (weight in back for some distribution).but i have painted the grill and cleaned the rims.i washed it to, there was tons of moss on the car. i cleaned the interior to.but then i was about to move so i packed every thing up and put it in my car.

yes i still got the wagon, the guy who was suposed to give me my parts got locked up, hes on work relese. he has owed me parts sense sept. 08' so im pissed this car still dont run. ive painted hood, bumpers, headlight surrounds, grill, the piece between the hood and the windshield, dash top. i took all the door panels, and hatch inner panel of to clean them and possibly leave the doors like that 4 "weight reduction" but my landlord through the panels way thinking they was garbage. when it runs im gunna get some stiller springs from some small truck/suv at the junk yard and cut them for the front. idk what to do with the backend.

Hi, I like your car when I was in 4th grade a girls mom drove one of these same color. I went to radiator.com and fond a radiator for your car. if you replace the whole exhaust the pieces bolt on and you do not have to weld you could replace the whole thing your self do not try to use anything past the exhaust manifold just unbolt past the exhaust manifold and replace everything it will save you time search and search the net and parts stores and you can find all the parts
