This is our new addition to the family.  It is a 1965 Beetle with a stout little 1915cc DP motor.  I traded my 1999 R1 for it and have not regreted it one bit.

It has the original low backs, but it came with these racing seats inside.

Unfortunately this car needs alot.  New wiring, windshield wipers, reupholstered, and more.  Looks like the rabbit is going further on the back burner. Right after I traded the R1 the motor started to go out.  (I swear I didn't know.) The bug will be painted andd some more done, enjoy the pictures, as I add more about the car.

Whoops.  Starter caught on fire and broke the starter shaft in the bell housing.  Remember a fire extinguiser is a great investment.  Will post pictures after I stop crying.

thanks for the comment i see you have a few things to fix ,my baby is always a work in progress, but i am always happy to work on her, as for your brake master cylinder i suggest using one off a 71/79 with a duel circuit. better peace of mind... sorry to hear about the starter,
