On August 5, 2008, I took the possession of a brand new 2008 Chevrolet Silverado CrewCab. This is my first brand new truck, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I traded in a 2001 Ford F-150 Supercrew with just over 100,000 miles. Initially we only wanted to upgrade to a newer, low mileage truck, but with the deals they are offering on new trucks, it was to good of a deal to pass up. When we pulled out of the driveway at the dealership, it had only 375 miles on the odometer.

When I purchased the truck it came with the following options:

So far we have added the following items to the truck:

20% Tint on the front windows
Low Profile Bug Shield (smoke)
Wind Deflectors (smoke)
GM Bedliner (removed the cargo management system)
