i found the car in a local paper for $3500, and it's come a long way. the main goal was to have a high 12/ low 13 second street strip car that could also turn heads. it was originally a slant six car and had 28K miles on it when i bought it, it was desert storm tan, had hub caps, and would make any grandmother proud.lol.... i spent last winter doing a complete drivetrain swap. i found a very healthy smallblock making about 350 horses. also put in a chrysler 8 3/4 rear end with a 3.91 posi. to fit the big tires on an A body with a B body rear end, i had to do a spring relocation. the aftermarket afco pro stock springs and heavy duty gas shocks give it a nice ride and let it hook well off the line. the wheels are weld racing drag lite series.Mickey Thompson street ET's are 10.5 on the rear and the bfg's are 8 on the front. it has a racing 727 tranny with a stage 2 shift kit and a 3000 B&M stall converter. a B&M quicksilver shifter. the motor has been bored, port polished, closed chamber fast burn heads, 750 holley dual pumper, edelbrock intake, .501 lunati voodoo cam, mopar performance ignition system, mallory electric fuel pump, aluminum racing fuel cell, flow tech headers, aluminum 2 core race radiator, dual electric fans, and high compression forged pistons. from the headers back is a flomaster exhaust system complete with straight in/out super 40 series mufflers, autometer tach, racing 5 switch panel, a fiberglass flat black 6 pack hood, go wing, 6 point cage, a wet 125 shot NOS nitrous system, frame ties, and the car was recently rolled out of the paint booth wearing a fresh coat of sublime and a new black vinyl top. here it is as it stands now, hope you all enjoy it as much as i do! comments welcome!!! (I think I managed to get the pics in reverse chronological order)
