1981 Buick Century Station Wagon

(GN Powered)

Here is my Buick, when I bought it the last owner dropped a 1986 Buick Grand National drivetrain in it.  Engine, trans, rear, ecm, wire harness and all.  There seems to have been a few permormance mods done to it.  From what I can tell so far:

     Manual boost controller

     lucas "009" 30 lb/hr injectors

     Bosch adjustable fuel pressure regulator

3 inch down pipe and full exhuast, single.

K&N cone air filter and 3.5 " intake pipe.

     Plenum spacer, .5 inch

    10mm plug wires

    denso plugs

    sumped gas tank

    1/2 fuel line

    high flow external fuel pump

    Weld drag lights front/back

    M&T ET drags

Came with 2 chips, a hypercrap and an ATR pitbull chip.

Now for the bad stuff.  When we (my brother and I), got the car it ran, but like shit.  It idled ok, but you had to ease into the throttle to get it to move.  So when it got to my house, I put my Snap-on MT2500 scanner to it, and couldn't get an ALDL stream to the scanner.  Upon futher investigation, I realized the dude who did the conversion was a hack when it came time to do the harness.

Here is a rundown of the problems:

MAF sensor had a cracked housing

Engine wiring harness has numerous issues

     Turbo is bad

     Boost controller hooked up wrong

     Many dried/split vacuum lines

     Exhaust is falling off

Something is bad in the steering components

None of the dash dummy lights work

     ALDL port is dead

     ECM is fried

Power steering resevior is mounted sideways with little fluid in it

Right rear shock bolt bend and rubbing rim

     Gas tank is leaking

     The Roof is caved in

     The wipers don't work

     The headlights/taillights don't work

     The heater don't work

That's all I can think off for now.

Here are some pics of when I first brought it home.  I'll take some more pregress pics soon.
