Car sold Novemeber 21, 2008 / Totaled 12:57 AM on December 24, 2008. RIP 93 Civic...
General Summary:
This is my 1993 Civic EX coupe 4 speed serving as my new Project/Hobby/Daily Driver. I just bought this car after I sold the old 99' Civic DX. I couldn't let go of Civics forever, so I found something I can start over with. This was the car and as soon as I take care of personal business I'll begin to fix it up to make it a better replacement for my previous Civic. It does need a lot of work but mostly cosmetic. For 112,333 miles, it drives alright. But that's it for now. I will update as I make changes to the ride. This is only the beginning. That's why I named her "The Uprising"...
You already know my motto:

~Car Sold and Totaled Just Before Christmas~(12/24/08 12:57 AM)
Well people I didn't tell you all but I sold the Civic to this dude around my way on the 21st of November. It wasn't a complete sale because dude didn't have all the money but he wanted to pay me on a "layaway plan" while fixing up the ride himself . I agree and he was paying me every Friday and driving the car around as usual. But as of today, he nearly totaled it just before Christmas. Ain't that funny. As you can see in the picture above, it's a complete mangaled mess. He was driving on Icy roads and slide into a fuckin light pole, damaging the headlights, hood, body, engine, deploying the airbags, and pulverizing the front bumper. Fuckin Idiot. Now the 93 Civic is no more. He doens't have enough money to fix the damage but regardless, he's under contract so he still owes me the remaining balance, plus I have his collateral. Such a mess. So with that being said, REST IN PIECE or should I say PIECES, 93 Civic.
~Maintenance Almost Finished~(11/9/08)
Well as of today alot has been accomplished with the Civic. I just got new tires, an oil change, whole new exhaust system including catalytic converter, new brake pads & rotors, new spark plugs, and it just passed inspection. It had to pass because the condo assoication was talking about towing it if I didn't get tags on it. Fuck them, I got tags on it. I also decided to throw the 6000K HID kit from the previous Civic to give this Civic a fresh start. More to do soon to get this Civic running reliably. The photo on the right is a concept photo.

~Work to Start~ (10/12/08)
Well I just obtained a second job. Looks like I will be keeping the Civic. While I drive the Cobalt I will be fixing the Civic up so that it can become as reliable as the Cobalt. Can't wait till the bucks start rolling in. When they do, I will start to mod out the Civic. There will be something new on it every week. First I'll give the engine a tune-up so that it runs right. Then I'll make my car stand out a little by throwing the Rims & HID kit from the previous Civic onto this car. I'll keep everyone posted.
~Unlikely Decision~ (9/30/08)
I've come to a certain disagreement at this point. I'm short on cash, bills are high, and worst, I have to pay for the Cobalt which is eating up my money. I'm not sure if I'll be keeping the Civic much longer. If I can get a second job I will keep the Civic and fix it up. But right now, the search is a little slow. I'll update this when I make my decision.
~New Civic~ (9/7/08)
This is my new Civic I bought after selling my previous Civic. My pride for Civics was too great and I needed another. Although this one is in need of some work (mostly the interior) but it runs very good so I'm not too worried. I will update the page as I make changes to the car.
