My 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbocoupe

Here is my baby, my 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbocoupe. This bad ass car comes from the factory with a turbocharged and intercooled 2.3L, T-5 transmission, four wheel disc brakes with abs, and all the luxury options.
I bought this car with 172K miles on it. At 210K, a valve went in the head so I replaced the motor with a rebuilt one. I'm also on my second paint job!
Here are the most current pictures of my car. We got all the body work done and got it primered. I'm hoping to paint it black on the top, and sonic blue pearl (the old color) on the bottom. I'll update the pictures as soon as it's done.
My exterior mods include:
-Ground effects by MCK Plastics.
-17x9 Cobra Rs with Kumho Ecsta 712s (255/45/ZR17)
-Saleen S351 Racing Wing (not shown)
This car doesn't just look good, it really goes!
Performance mods include:
-K&N cone filter with heat sheild
-T3 turbo from a Merkur
-Gillis boost valve
-Ported intake and exhaust manifold
-A237 Ford Racing roller cam
-Kirban billet adjustable fuel pressure regulator
-3" single exhaust with no cat
-Dynomax ultra-flo muffler
-Battery moved to trunk
Parts I have lying around waiting to be installed:
-Grand National Front Mount Intercooler with air scoop
-First generation Mistubishi BPV
-255lph fuel pump
-Racer Walsh adjustable cam sprocket
-New motorcraft TFI and PIP
After all of this is installed, I'm hoping for a reliable 300hp to the crank at 18-20spi of boost. I also hope to hit high 13s with it. After I get a new car, I'll build my own custom motor, maybe 500hp with nitrous?
And finally, here is a shot of my interior. It's in ok shape, but I want to completely redo the inside soon, maybe with some Sparco racing seats!
My interior mods are few:
-Momo shift knob and boot
-Indiglo white face gauges
-Pioneer CD player
-Sony XPlod speakers
-2 Rockford Fosgate 12" subs with 600 watt amp
I want to replace all the painted peices with stock parts, now that I'm a little older, it looks tacky.
Thanks for visiting!
