1979 Scottsdale

purchased because i needed an engine for my camaro but it didnt look like this. if i can find an old pic of it ill post it. this pic is current. it came with a fleetside that was rusted to pieces. i have the 350 from it in my camaro now it has a 400 bored .040 over. i would almost say its faster than my camaro. that truck will fly. its got a wooden bed floor. when we first got it it didnt even have a full floor in it. now its looking pretty good.

The engine looks better than that now, thats not a recent photo, at that point the truck had no bed on it.

Just recently it hit the road again, running strong. Though it does have one valve cover leaking, but all in all it running great. My grandpa bought a holley 650cfm carb for it and he and i did a top end rebuild not to long ago.

Nice Truck! I would like to see more pictures. I had a 76' Scottsdale stepside for my first ride. They are surprisingly light and, yes, they can move! 5 stars. Check out my rides sometime.
