Hey guys this is my new, (well new to me) 2004 Dark Shadow Grey Mustang Mach 1. More like a graduation gift after I finished Nursing School. Anyway I purchased this off of a guy that had an interesting problem, he needed the extra garage space for a 2009 Camaro, so his lost my gain. I personally think I got the better deal. These Mach 1's are unique in a way that they have parts similar with the Cobra's and the GT's.
They have the drive train and brakes like a cobra, minus the supercharger of course, but they have the looks of a GT but with an Air Scoop sticking out of the hood. For Technical spec's and other info: http://www.mach1registry.com/
All Mach 1's in 2003 and 2004 (the only years produced in this body style) were all pretty much the same. They ALL had the EXACT same interior, stripes, wheels, and the coolest damn air intake ever put on a Mustang, (for the second time). The only option for these beauties was exterior color choice and an 1 interior option upgrade packege for pedals, and some silver accents. Most Mach 1's have this upgrade, mine does.
This particular Mach 1 was purchased stock except for a C&L CAI. I have added the Deck lid mat and an SLP Full exhaust catted X-pipe with Loudmouth 1's which sounds amazing, it literaly scared me when I fired her up. The exhaust is a full bolt-on and I did it in my driveway with a jack, 4 stands, 2 buddies and a retired next door neighbor who didn't help and just happens to be my biggest critic about the Mach 1. Oddly enough he drives around in a pristine $50,000 Lincoln Mark LT truck.
