aidenmichael0521's 2003 Ford Taurus  my family 4 door S.H.O. stoppa thats right wit my custom cold air intake (k&n) of course, and my nitrous (50) shot be ccareful with cheep internals and heads they will blow i have seen it and it is a biznatch to fix, pain in the ass or from what i saw it was.  modifeid stock exhaust (straight pipe)  , i will get some pics while i have it on the lift when im getting my magnaflows so the people with other things on there plate, it will give them a cheep quick fix to get some extra stock power while they focus on other things. For only about $20. yes it can be done. also my jet chip and no i dont know how much power it will give i just know its a lot quicker pretty easy to instal. i have never lost to a S.H.O. wich were probably all stock and really the S.H.O.'s are not all that faster then the 2000,s and up taurs wit da duratec so do this and you will have no prob beatting a stock or better S.H.O.

if you are like where did he get the wheels they are stock and yes there are ford racing wheels or atleast it says on the inside lip look close and they are a set of only 1 out of 4,000 that ford made that year especially for the 03 ses sport you may find them on newer ones but they are diff just a little who knows you may see this year make and modle on the auction block in 30 years (lol)

here is a closer look. o ya dont use any wheel cleener on them they will turn yellow they have a clear coat of urithane on them just soap  water and elbow greese. when you are done take a rag and some black magic (blackbottle) matted finish tire shine spray on to rag and wipe wheels and tires clean exsess and that is it no run off or while driving splash off.

to keep our bulls clean i recomend the turtle wax ice set up liquid clay bar , wax ,detailer , and interior detailor. the clay bar is amaizing use it every 3 to 5 washes or that is what i do follow directions back and fourth no circles easy daniel son get a buffing wheel atatch to a 18 volt dewalt drill and go to town or maguires power paint ball. then wax, this stuff is amaizing remember where you put it cuz someone else will. The good thing about this stuff is that it leaves no white powder residue little tip use it on the rocker, door/window trim, window cowell  by the winsheild wippers, and the wiper arms them selves dont use any of the back to black shit it dont work. Use the exterior detailor between washes that is some good shit. Interior ice is the best because it makes it look and feel new i mean who wants all the greese and shit it only atract dust. No car came off the assemley line looking like that. On the interior this stuff cleanes it to the original look i mean if you can lay money on your dash and it will not slide while turning that is a problem, go with the clean look.

I read your comment about figuring out how to mount your foglights on someone elses page. Check out my foglights. There are two bolts right behind the grille that are perfect for mounting your lights

As as the intake goes all you can really do is find a MAF adapter plate from you local auto parts store or performance shop and bolt it onto you MAF and find a cone filter. I forgot to mention previously that heat is the biggest facter of power robbing for any engine, if you can reduce the heat you can keep power consistant. Its a well known fact less heat = more power. And unfortunately the taurus is not very good at reducing heat. mainly because the exhaust manifold sits close to the radiator and has no heat shield. Im currently waiting on a custom built/fit 2 core radiator and fans for my taurus and by far the most costly of the upgades. Im also fitting a new oil cooler on afterwards. hopefull this will allow for lower engine temps.

The amount of money I have dropped into upgrading my taurus is actually pretty low condsidering the gains I have achieved. Ive dropped only about $700 to get where im at. To build up your power you have to consider the basic needs for and engine to run and then double amounts needed. More air = more power, more fuel = more power, more exhaust flow = more power. now there are inbetweens that add power like a hotter spark to ignite the fuel, more fuel burnt adds more power as well as less fuel is wasted which in turn means less emmissions and more fuel economy. right now with my upgrades have achieved 26 mpg city, and 32 mpg freeway. Getting power outta your 3.0 is hard because for one there are no manufacturers that actually make performance parts other than the SHO custom shop and even then the part selection is kinda skimpy. So basically you have to apply the basic principles of power and find parts for your car that are universal. On my page you can find the parts list so far of what I have found that will work for this generation. the most expensive part that Ive bought is the JET chip and Ive since removed it because when I upgraded the coil pack the chip had problems dealing with its longer ignition burn because the chip advances timing so id get a dry burn that stalled out the engine. Pretty much the same principle as a flooding carb just backwards.

what part are you looking for. BTW the only difference in Part #s between our tauruses is mechanical parts such as engine parts and some filters.
