Exterior
My name is Alex, I am 17 years old, and this is my page of my 1998 Ford F-150. It is the 50th Anniversary Edition with an Oxford White exterior and a Graphite interior. A lot of hard work, money, patience, and physical spilled blood from my crushed/maimed/cut fingers have gone into this truck to transform from what it used to look like (see below).
BEFORE AFTER
To the left is a picture taken around June 2007. To the right is a picture taken September 2008. Over this time period I have removed/added many things and love the way it is going. Many more mods are to come, and this is only the beginning. To me, this truck is a part of my life. I think it is the perfect definition of the "Working Class Hero" as everything aftermarket you see on (and in) this truck, including gasoline, insurance, etc. have been paid by me working on a minimum wage fast-food job.
The first picture shows my aftermarket headlights with my custom painted bumper, white badges, Hella 2020's mounted behind the grille, and although not seen, I have a 100W RMS Siren and LED Strobe kit for my VFD duties. Pictured to the right is my custom decal for my proud homepage and screenname if you ever care to look me up or join us. We are 40,000 members and growing!
These are day and night shots of my aftermarket headlights. The heads are diamond-patterned HD-style headlamps with L-style side markers. The actual lights are 9007 6000K Bi-Xenon HID system with 3157 Amber LEDs in the corners. Also mounted are clear LED strobe heads in the main light housing. Below is the light pattern/output offered from HID lighting versus standard halogen bulbs. Also pictured is my 60" PlasmaGlow Fire & Ice LED tailgate bar to match the drop-in LED's I put into my stock tail housings. It lights up with my running lights (seen here), turn signals, brake lights, and even reverse lights! (See below)
And who can forget the lovely output of LEDs? At night, everyone is bound to look at the butt of my truck. Dual LED chipboard taillights mated with a PlasmaGlow 60" Fire & Ice lightbar makes for one stunning drive at night. Not to mention the risk of me getting rear-ended is practically nil. Also I have 3156 white LEDs in the reverse lights.

Engine
Below is my K&N Series-77 Chrome Cold Air Intake. Adds a great pep-booster for the 4.2L V6. Apart from that, I am currently installing an electric fan kit. Roughly adds around 10 hp, frees up the engine, colder A/C and of course better mileage. Next up is a programmer and later down the road is a FloPro SIDO exhaust.
