FINALLY!!!
I got my blower.
well its been a long time coming but it finally arrived today,
thanks to my Father who's also a "motor head" for going halves to get it while it was cheap (ish)
was looking at 12 second 1/4 miles being naturally aspired but now seriously eyeing off the low 11's, not bad for a cruise-able streeter.
I dont know why the guy who built my blower left the factory original top reinforcing bars on, they are only needed for the original blower application, being mounted on the side of a dirty great big deisel 6cyl, so naturally i removed them my self, alot of people believe it helps increase the "Air/Fuel" flow when they are removed.
Here is the manifold i am getting, its an Australian made item made by Bill at MaxWedge performance, and its only 3.5 inches tall, the BDS item i was looing at came in at just over 7 inches, a bit too tall for me as i only want my scoop through the bonnet, with the BDS manifold all of the carby(s) and scoop will be poking out.
