Thanks, Leonard. The Escort Marks 1 and 2 were not marketed there in the States, probably why you haven't seen one like this before. It was only the Mark 3, or the so-called First Gen Escorts there, already of the Japanese Mazda platform, that were started to be sold there in 1980. The Mark 1 and Mark 2 Escorts were manufactured in England, relatives of the Capri and Granada. So there ya have it...lol.
