SUMMER 2009 TRIP
FROM HOME  TO ALONISSOS 
Next trip will start from Como, I will travel across Italy.
At Ancona I will take a ferry (the red line on the pic) and I will go to Igoumenitsa (Greece)
then I will across two Greek regions: Thessaly and Epirous from Igoumenitsa to Volos.
There I will take another ferry to Alonissos , a very quiet and beautiful Greek island . For this trip I must prepare my Cherokee whit a big and strong roof rack (homemade) I must load a dinghy...
...on the top (up to 450 lbs). some Lbs of luggages in the cargo, three people and my dog.
In Greece, temperatures must be very high in that season, (104 -122F)
so my car have now a new radiator, made by a custom fabricator, much bigger than the original, (3 lines of pipes not 2) NOT plastic or aluminium but only copper and brass . Maybe I will change also the fan clutch.
The trip will be approximately up to 2200 miles long
ALONISSOS IS WILD AND WONDERFUL...
NEXT YEAR I COME BACK AGAIN!!
