   rocket_man_69's 1969 Plymouth Satellite

hey guys and gals

This is my new baby.  I bought a 1969 Plymouth Satellite Sport from a guy that my dad knew.  I paid $200 for the car.  I thought that it was a great deal.  The car is in really rough shape, I'm not going to lie.  The interior needs to be all redone.  Most of the exterior panels need to be replaced.  The engine that is in it right now is out of a 70's van, and the oil pan is wrong on it.   I'm going to put a 383 motor in it, with a 727 tranny.  I'm hoping to get the car painted at some point(Plum Crazy).  I'm going to add pictures as i go along with the project.

Engine

This is the 360 motor that came with the car.  This motor is from a 70's van and does not fit the car.  I'm ripping this motor out and putting a 383 6-pack in.

We had to cut the center of the rad support out to get the engine out.  Yeah i can't wait to get the new engine in there

For some reason the drive shaft is in the  car

rocket_man_69's 1969 Plymouth Satellite The steering wheel was missing when we got the car so it was a little difficult to get the car on the trailer

rocket_man_69's 1969 Plymouth Satellite  When i tore up the carpet to my surprise there was a huge hole in the floor

rocket_man_69's 1969 Plymouth Satellite  When i took the gas pedal out a piece of flooring came out with it

I still have the original owners manual

This would be all of the window trim i hope.

This would be the parts pile for my car.  I've got everything in there.  There's rims, bumpers, front end parts, interior parts, and i even think the driveshaft is in there.

leave me any feedback or any places that you know of where i can find parts for this car.  Thanks guys

Ryan

Good luck with the restore. I'm sure it will be a winner. Maybe a roadrunner clone?
