1) Exterior
Currently, fog lights only exist for my car in Brazil. They have shown up for the Jetta model of my car on ebay, and I'm waiting anxiously for someone to start selling mine. The scary part is I'll have to cut out the dummy spots in my bumper to install the real thing when I get them.
2) Interior
I would love to purchase this very expensive replacement shift surround, which I think would go great with the rest of my brushed interior.
Here is a picture of a carbon fibre engine cover, which is one of my options for this area. My other option I'm going to check in to is colour matching my engine cover to my body paint, with plastic heat safe paint of course.
Though I do like my steering wheel, and already put in some time adding the R-Line badge to it, I would love to get a stock VW R32 D-type steering wheel. When I do this, I would make sure to have the R-Line brushed aluminum trim on the bottom spoke.
A double gauge pod on my steering column, likely equipped with an oil pressure gauge and a voltmeter.
Though I have my R-Line monster mats for the winter, I love the look of the black R-Line carpet mats with the silver stitching.
R-Line leather seat belt pads will add another nice touch to my interior. I plan on getting five, one for each belt. Also, after much contemplation I think I'd also like a full set of R-Line seats to put in the car. The sporty, yet comfy looking seats from the R32's, maybe my favourite Dub, would look amazing and be great to ride in!
My Stereo system is not complete until I am able to add my amp and sub. I will be getting a JL Audio Stealthbox with a 10w3v3 sub and a JL 250 1v2 sub amp to power it. JL was nice enough to make a custom sub box for MK4 Golfs that fits right down the spare tire well, and you have the option of still carrying your spare tire or not.
I've decided to go a differnet route for amping my audio, and that is with an Alpine PDX-5 amp. It's 5 channel, so I can do my Type S speakers and sub eventually, all in one nice package.
3) Performance
After listening to clips of some different exhausts I have changed my plans here as well. I'm going to add an Ansa exhaust to the Golf, a great item from ECS Tuning.
I have changed my mind from a black tie bar to a white tie bar, which I think will look awesome with my white engine bay and strut towers, which I would get from ECS.
An Autotech short shifter is also on the list.
