I got tired of looking at my faded side view mirrors, so I repainted them with a flat black. It looks better but it is not like the stock mirrors. I say if your mirrors are in need of a repaint just take them off and do it yourself it only takes a few hours and the results are great.
It took a while for me to sand all of the pits and rough spots caused by the sun. I taped off each one and then hung them up by a coat hanger and sprayed them.
My dad's ladder made a good rack for hanging them to dry. And the flat black looks nice. But now they are in need to be reapainted again. I used the wrong type of paint. So I am going to use a better paint with maybe a coat of clear.
I have been working on custom panels to replace the pockets that have been sagging and are worn out.
Panels are almost done.
Friends and other stuff
This is my good friend Neil and his 93 Coral Reef Blue 5.0

This is Neil's old 92 2.3 (RIP Silver Bullit)

This was the motor that we were going to put into Neil's old 92 2.3. It is a 2.3 turbo SVO engine with a T3 turbo.
This is when we were trying to swap out Neils 2.3 for the turbo motor.
