Well where do i start ... This is my 1976 datsun 620 pickup Nicknamed " BULLET PROOF " lol

car domain does not have a section for 620 's

this truck is still under construction thank you

this truck has been in my life for the better part of 10 -12 years.... it was givin to my mom bye one of here ex boyfriends who was a vietnam vet and is deceased now RIP BIG RALPH.... And then handed down to me as my 1 ST highschool car / truck

lol now the story of the bullet holes

I guess one day while my moms ex was in the middle of a divorce his ex wife decided she was going to try to steal the pickup out of his yard..... so after she started the truck and began to drive off " Ralph" "my moms ex "  went and grapped some kind of powerful rifle and proceeded to try and blow up his ex by shooting the gas tank much like a movie lmao !!!!

As u can see it didnt work and my truck has a great badge of honor lol .... i put this truck on here because ive ben a member of cardomain for a while and if u have one of these trucks u know that there are a f***** pain to work on and there a great group of peple out there that love these truck and try to restore them so heres my pictures and a little bit of my personnal restoring of this truck thanx ..... Rate me and leave comments specially if u have a datsun 620 or 720 pickup or anything datsun check out my 1965 oldsmobile starfire also the only 1 on cardomain thanx and have a good day

^ when the carb was first acting up we put in an aftermarket fuel pump to try to fix the prob now that i have the other car im thinking about getting rid of it for better gas mileage dont know if it helps or hurts the truck

tech9twista's 1976 Datsun 610 Canon city, CO - 7  and now for my fix to datsuns well known carburetor problem with those shitty foriegn carbs ...... this is a 1 barrel off of a 1970 earley 80's dodge ram with a 318 i believe......  all i had to do to get the carb to fit was dril out the carb mount holes a little wider to fit on the stock datsun intake...... as u can see not everything was kosher with the carb.... the throttle line was rigged up with my CHROME DOOR HINGE as you can see in the picture and then made a custom return spring .... now the truck runs great but it wont stay idling because of the vacuum lines i think i have to go thru them all and see what i can do ..... But !!!!! after i did this me and my little brothers set a speed record in the DATSUN AT 90MPH ( SPEEDO ONLY GOES TO 100 MPH ) ;) LOL

This page and truck is still under construction thanx ;)

Nice truck. Since there's no category for it you can also put it under the Nissan/Datsun Sunny; these trucks were based on the Sunny's platform. And is that an L series inline 6? If so, what size? Also, the "bullet proof" moniker is very appropriate for these little trucks; they're just as durable as the Toyota hilux.
