This is a new and more recent set of photos that I took of my Saturn. It was taken near the waterfront here in Hercules.
Here below is a set of photos from my trip to San Francisco after some cleaning up and waxing of my Satty! (January 28, 2009)
Well, my ride is fully operational again. My mouse track seatbelt is still out of commission on my driver's side so I decided to pull the fuse because the module still thinks my belt is functional and will not turn off. So it eats my battery and my dies after a couple of days. Now my other electrical problem is the JBL subwoofer won't turn off sometimes after I shut the car down. It is the 2nd problem electrically that I have with the car. I am thinking about going with a catback exhaust of a 2" diameter. I just have to figure out if I should go with or without a resonator in between. Any ideas or opinions?
*UPDATE* My brother helped me mount the body kit this evening and so she's complete! Its an old body kit off of his 94 SL2. Looks sleeker and more angled in the front now. The problem for me is that the nose of my car is pretty long compared to most cars. I've got to be careful since I'm in the Bay Area where there's a bunch of steep hills and all. And when I'm in San Francisco, parking structures and underground parking will be a nightmare for me. If I lowered my car with lowering springs, I'd never be able to get into those places without scraping my front nose off.
*UPDATE* I'm currently waiting for my body kit, driver's side mirror, and rear spoiler to finish getting painted at an auto body shop. $600 total but worth it. The guy used to work for Ferrari of San Francisco and I've seen his work. Gonna get the body kit put on sometime this weekend if he's finished by then. I'll let you all know when I finish and try to get pictures of it. Its gonna be sweeeet!!!
This my 1991 Saturn SL2 with an automatic tranny. Life began for this car in June 4th, 1991 which was the delivery date to the showroom. My dad purchased this from Broadway Saturn of Oakland in August of the same year. Currently, it has less than 127,000 miles on it. I've driven the car myself for about 4 & 1/2 years. About a year and a half ago, I got the itch to add some "show" and a little bit of "go" to it. The paintjob is the original from the factory with the pinstriping.
The very first thing that was added to my ride was a set of used Alba Performance chrome rims from the "Reflection " series. They were 15" wheels but looked great providing me with some 'bling bling' and getting my Satty to stick out from the rest of the pack of econoboxes.
