hey man, yeah i will be checking back to see your progress your car looks solid! I was going to keep the 6 in her but by boss gave me his old 69 stang 302 cause he dropped in a 347 cammer. im planning to put my 200 six in my 61 to make it a sick little hot rod. planning to lower it and put red rims and whitewalls, old school style. well come checking on my site too as i will have the paint on by april.

Great project Chris, perfect car for your first restoration. It's really cool that at your age to be interested in building a classic performance ride. It will be a life time experience. 5 stars 4 U.

YOUR COMET LOOKS GOOD. I THINK 5.0L IS THE WAT TO GO UNLESS YOUR PLANS ARE TO RACE THE CAR. IF THIS CAR IS GOING TO BE CRUISER WITH BALLS, THE 5.0L IS GREAT. THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT OPTIONS WITH 5.0L AND THE MOTOR IS BULLET PROOF. I'M HAVING A GREAT TIME WITH MINE. YOU ARE GOING TO WANT TO UPGRADE THE GEARS IN THE REAR END AND TRANSMITION. AS YOU GET THE CAR ON THE ROAD, THEN YOU WILL KNOW WHAT OTHER CHANGES YOU WANT TO MAKE TO THE CAR. IT IS A NEVER ENDING THING. ALWAYS WANT MORE. THANKS FOR THE COMMENT AND I HOPE THIS HELPED OUT.
