Well, this is my baby, started working on her in high school and eight years later it almost done (it's never really done). The interior is all new original black leather, trimmed in chrome with white back gauges.

Engine: Rebuilt 289
Compression: 9.85:1
Heads: factory heads ported, polished, and port matched to intake; CompCams dual springs & 1.6 roller rockers
Headers: Hooker full tube
Intake: Edelbrock Performer RPM
Carburetor: Edelbrock 750 (manual choke)
Camshaft: Competition Cams 272deg

It's got rebuilt C4 with a performance valvebody and torque converter driving out a 3.55 rear end.

Things to do still:
(1) My next project is to rebuild the front suspension with urethane bushings, relocate the a-arms, install a 1" front/rear drop kit, koni adjustables and a 5/8" rear sway bar
(2) Maybe a set or trick flows for the motor (though i've got another 60's 289 block sitting in the garage begging to be built out super trick)
(3) Swap transmission for a T5 (although funding is the only thing making me think twice about putting a richmond 6-speed in)
(4) A set of underdrive pulleys

I just finished changing the original guages to white backs and creating a new illumination system for them (the cool indigo blue). I used 8ft of EL wire (should be familiar to all you computer modders out there) and wrapped it around the guages inside the cluster

Ahhh...cool indigo blue. They really looks way cooler than this, digital camera was struggling in the dark.

Nice ride those gauges are sweet. I'm considering using the red EL wire with the stock black guages.
