Here's my 1986 chevy caprice landau. 13,000 O.G. miles. Everything is O.G. on the first few sets of pictures Paint,Interior, engine, etc. paint a little faded from 8 years of outside storage. but in all its a solid a$$ "big bodied coupe". so far I've had the car for 2 weeks, as of august 20th 2008. But its been in the family for those 8 years. now it in good hands. WHAT UP KEV..

This is when i removed the front clip.. some fiberglass work needed in order to keep the 86' emblem. i jus wasn't feelin that "cadilac" style emblem..
IT HAS 13,945 MILES..NEVER TURNED THE WHITE # IS TENTHS.. AS OF 7/23/09
The rear end is ALL stock n all been wit the car since 1986. U JUS DONT FIND THESE CARS THIS IN THIS CONDITION... ATLEAST NOT IN CALI...

The rear on left n front on right wit the flex primer for the fiberglass n plastic bumper filler panel.
Inside is clean. same color as the outside. The victor steering wheel is leather and woodgrain. "Cold" I've never seen the same wheel n if u seen it send me a link or somthin so i can know more bout'em

A very Stock 305 v8. 700r tranny only upgrade was a flowmaster muffler.. soon to have a little more power... but is still barly even broke in yet wit this kind of miles...

N thats how it sat for 5 months until i got time n the ends $ to start workin on it. (with 2 kids, rent n all ). but then when i started workin on it u couldnt stop me or tell me nothin.
The first thing i did was get my rim game together .n i dont ride no BULL SHIT rims like a lot of other Cats i see on this we site wit caprices. so Anyway the rims i wanted center emblem wouldnt fit once mounted so I machined the front rotor 1/4 INCH to make THE RIM WITH EMBLEM fit properly. N at the same time i hit the rear breaks up too. the rotor now has a plastic toy hauler wheel bearing covers. crafty huh... i know

so after that i knew i had a rust issuse on the roof, the landau owners know what happens when u leave these type of tops not properly stored. so i dug rite in keep in mind this is what i do. i have more then 10 years of custom metal work under my belt. so this roof was nothin to me.. but may seem major to some...
This is how it looked when i rippeed the vinyl off...

im not really down wit the micky mouse type of work, so this is what it is. chopped the whole roof out n replaced it. with a donner roof from a coupe. (i got lucky)

once i got the top off i cleaned off the exsiting rust and sprayed a rust protection coatin thats a rubberized aplication.. heres a close up.

after i swapped the roof it went straight to the paint. the paint had to b custom mixxed bcuz ill b damned if i c a nother car wit the same color. so i took a 2009 cadilac paint n added a lil tint to base coat the clear got the pearl all HOUSE OF COLOR PAINT PRODUCTS. the base coat was laid 4 time to aheive the proper tint n 6 coats of clear. in cali this is a pretty expensive paint job due to quality of prep before paint. but let me say no more here it is. COST ME $4,000

Shoot of when i got it back from paint.. it was time to make it do what it do...
check the Paint on chrome strips. also painted the door n guarter glass chrome strip..

And the next morning this is what it looked like...
22" FS-series staggerd asanti rims wraped in parrelli tires 12" wide 295 25 in rear 9.5 wide 265 30 in front.. 5 inch lip in rear 3.5 inch lip up front.. COST ME $5,500
**Jus a added bonus was the paint on the back lip of the rims to match**

Next came the new top didnt want the same old same. So i got somthin a lil differant.. ostrich

More photos.....

This is my VERY VERY temporary sub set-up. i have a third sub but it wont find its way in til the offical box is done.. planning to wrap it in fiberglass n some other top secret shit thats gonna kill the game.. please believe
