Thanks for checking out my daily driver Chevy Killer

(JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS - The nickname 'Chevy Killer' is not because I am an arrogant mustang owner - it's an inside joke for my friends and family. I actually own a few bowties and my family has been racing in the NHRA for over 10 years in TAD and TAFC and we build nothing but chevy motors - and have 5 national championships...lol

So don't take the nickname too serious...

WHAT'S NEW:

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR SOTW - I AM HUMBLED AND GRATEFUL FOR YOUR VOTES!  THE TWIN TURBOS ARE ALMOST FINISHED AND WILL BE AT THE TRACKS NEXT WEEK AND HOPING FOR AN 8 SEC STREET CAR!!  VIDS AND UPDATES COMING!!!

The pics are a couple old ones and a couple during the new build.  The old build was a KB 2.6 HO @ 20 psi. The new build is the 330ci stroked boss 4.6 block and a Whipple 3.4 HO @ 13 psi.   The final build is finishing up right now and is a water-cooled twin 67mm custom turbo build.  1000+ rwhp and an 8 second street car coming soon...

Got tired of the Roush Vinyl stripes and had the stripes painted and the entire car repainted to match.

The new build has functional 1/4 window scoops and no side scoops.  Here is a quick shot of the suspension and custom exhaust.  I had to use the Roush 2" tips because of the roush fascia but it didn't make sense to use 2" tips with a custom 3" exhaust I made from a Bassani GT500 kit so I mounted the tips and polished them and then hid the real exhaust under the car.

dyno tunes...

This is a shake down pass of the new suspension.  I shifted the car at only 5000 rpm and was just testing the launch. (thus only 100 mph) Car made a 1.37 60'

This first vid is the break in pass on the whipple 3.4 at Irwindale.  I had not ran it in the 1/4 yet nor had I used the giggle gas yet.  This tune was a very conservative 13 psi on about 17º of timing and I ran the car soft.
