abq72k5's 1972 Chevrolet Blazer

Ok, This is a work in progress.  This picture illustrates a little "flexin" on the first shakedown after 5 years of work.  All work was done in my garage with the help of my brother (thanks bro!).

1972 Chevy K/5 Blazer:

Engine: 350w/ 4 bolt main punched .030 over, balanced and decked, Sealed Power hypereutectic pistons. Edelbrock Performer Intake, Holley Truck Avenger 750cfm carb, Lunati cam, Hooker headers. Milodon high flow oil pump, Summit high flow fuel pump, Hooker dual exhaust w/ Summit H pipe, new everything else.

Suspension: Superlift 8"/7" spring lift w/ Superlift shocks & s/s brake lines; dual steering stabilizer

Drive Train:  SM465 with a NP205 transfer case (both freshly rebuilt); Custom drive shafts, Front Dana 44 w/ 4.56 gears (open) and rear 12 bolt w/ 4.56 gears (open).

Wheels/Tires: Eagle 15x12 alloys w/ Mickey Thomson Baja ATZ all terrains 38x14.5x15 tires

Other stuff:  STC soft top, Painless wiring kit, new heater hoses, summit racing seats, Grant GT steering wheel, new carpet, new upholstery, New power steering pump, new front inner fenders, new front & rear bumpers, Optima yellow top battery and probably a number of other things I'm forgetting.

Planned upgrades: Bushwhacker cut out fender flares, full roll cage, lockers front & rear, 12,500# winch and Paint.

Oh yeah, I started out with 38x12.5 Super Swamper TSL's but found a smokin' deal on the ATZ's on Ebay!
