8/11/08_I bought this 1994 Ford Escort, w/175,000 miles, I've replaced a Coil pack, Front Brakes, and New Battery. Not Bad...It's a 5-speed, Air, P/S,P/B,and Great on the gas mileage,(it gets 31 to the gal.)_The 'scort was completely stock when I got it.
Anyways, I just bought a Front and Rear Bumper From a '99 Neon, Rear bumper is getting put on next.
Here's the old teal green, the stock 1994 Color.....
14" Factory Alloys, ( No Curb Rash )...still in good shape; after 14 years, too.

Here's the 1.9 S.O.H.C. engine...and Spectre Performance Cold Air Intake...These things work, gives a bit more throttle response, and 5-7 more H.P. than the stock airbox setup...>>>>>>>>>>>10.2 Supercore Plug Wires,__Ordered from ebay, from a 1998 Explorer,(Just toss the other 2 plug wires, or keep for spares), they fit perfect !!>>>>>>
8/24/08_ordered a short shifter, and 95-99 neon front bumper clear corners from ebay...install, hopefully, next week.
Overall the car runs great, cold air, and 5-speed. I would like to get a couple of side skirts from a 92-95 civic to throw on the sides; Installed Jensen Head Unit, replaced factory speakers, and got Sony 75 W, JVC 125 W amps in back to push the factory speakers...Future plans include, a complete makover for the exterior. I will install the rear bumper, prefab or buy the side skirts, and prime the entire car in hot rod black primer...but for now, I'm really enjoying the the gas mileage.
9/6/08 I just finished the short shifter install, and it's not as easy as a civic, or accord ! Remove the small coil spring wrapped around the inside of the shifter; This is the only way the shifter will come out of the housing. The new short shifter, then just slides down into the old housing, and then reassemble...It's about a two hour job from start to finish. I like the shorter throw, and the smoothness of the new shifter...

Painted the Valve cover duplicolor Engine Enamel Red.
...Also, Sanded the Headlights w/ Extra Fine 400 Grit, and then Sprayed with Clearcoat...
9/11/08 Well it's been one month since i've gotton my '94 'scort, and I still got a lot's more to do to it before i'm content...My 'scort has become my personal hobby...and lot's of fun !

10/6/08___Today got the Lanzar Vibe 231 amp shipped to me...The Jensens can barely hold 350 w/ channel !!! The amp will push 800 w/ channel (mono) 350 w/channel (stereo). Anyways, here's a pic of the amp.....
Gonna Install This Amp Distribution Block, and the Sony, and the JVC to tha Front and Rear Sony 6.5's
Sold the Jensen 10's, got the (2) Pyle 12's in a non-ported box...It hits twice as hard, and I can turn the amp up too...
