Here are the LGT mufflers, recently snugged up, touching the bumper.  Quite difficult to keep shiney.

And a closeup:

Tires are GY TripleTred - went up a bit in size, 235/55/17 ( from stock 225/55/17).

Vastly superior to the OEM BS RE92A.

Rear Sway bar is the JDM 20mm hollow, about same as 18mm solid, about double the stiffness of the 15mm stock.  We've since added the AVO reinforcements.  Didn't notice how much the mounts had bent until I started snugging down the AVO bits.

Front camber is maxed negative, about -0.7deg each side, with 0.05 deg toe in all around.  No more dangerous levels of understeer, and tail wag is reduced.  Primary Driver is happy.

Also added a Rallitek shifter bushing.  Did not make much difference - the shifter was much better than our '98's was, stock.  Note - the Rallitek bushing is a bit thicker than OEM, so I had to replace the OEM nut with a tension-type lock nut.

And some pics of the Inalfa Moonroof.

A bit of fraying of the roof material if you look close along the forward part of the right side.

Simple controls - full open, close, popup.  It can be programmed for intermediate positions, but that's more trouble than it's worth.

Full open.  Notice the small wind deflector.

bibgbob - I tried, but had some problems. I'll give it another shot. ferdinand - No detectable performance effect from the LGT mufflers; Maybe a tiny bit of sound, probably only because they're snug against the bumper. Put this in the cosmetic-only category. Perfomance parts are hard to come by for a 2.5i. There are some imprezza intakes that supposedly fit, and maybe an imprezza header, but I'm not convinced they'll do much. You can fiddle with stuff (I also have a K&N), like removing the intake airbox resonator in the fender - intersesting sound, and maybe a slight boost in low end torque, and no CEL. And suspension stuff is hard to come by for an Outback. There are the Megan Racing coilovers, but they apparantly have some reliability issues. There's a JDM Bilstein kit, which requires JDM top hats, and gets kinda pricey. LGT springs/struts can fit, but I'd be leery of the camber issues it might present. Your tire wear is definitely a sign you need an alignment - see my numbers above. Tell them to max out front camber, and adjust toe as above. Maybe try a little more toe-in up front than I have, for a bit more stability on the highway. Unfortunately nothing else is adjustable without aftermarket parts. Good Luck!

nice outback bill! i always wished i got the moonroof! how do the LGT mufflers sound now? have you dynoed your subie to see how the mufflers effect your HP output? are they cat-back or axle-back? your outback is the naturally aspirated engine, right? have you had much difficulty finding performance parts for your car? i can't seem to locate a set of performance headers and exhaust. i wonder if you may have experienced my current problem. my tires wear at the outside edge of the tread surface only (the middle 1/3rd and innermost 1/3rd treads are wearing properly and still have a decent amount of tread left). at first, i thought it was because it was an AWD and because i kinda drive aggressively. then, i thought it was possibly an alignment issue, since i often zoom over railroad tracks and the crappy deteriorating michigan roads and i've not yet had an alignment since the start of my lease. they're the stock bridgestone RE92A tires and they've got 43,xxx miles on them. lemme know if you've had this problem or what you think my problem is due to? thanks!
