Learning
about an old car can be a bit tricky at times; especially, for the era of the
1969 Oldsmobile 442. This is due to the odd mixing and matching of the VIN and
cowl tag number. In reality the manufacturer would have all numbers matching
from the Engine Stamp, VIN, Head Cast #, etc.
