This is what it looked like when I bought it

This is the dune buggy that I have wanted for a long time I have been restoring it for about 8 months. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. the body weighs about 60lbs, the chassis is about 600lbs, the suspention seats weigh about 40lbs, all together the complete buggy will be about 1000lbs, thats not very much. I am putting a hi pro 2187cc vw engine in it with dual 44 webers (real webers) the engine makes around 180hp, which should make it go fast enough for me. The transaxle is solid mounted. Every nut and bolt has came off of this thing and been cleaned and painted.
