Nostalgia)(Although, to be absolutely correct, the by far MOST Collectible of the Series is the Famous MOO GLIDE, actually produced a year earlier then the Official 3-Year Run, in 1993 -- The Black/White Color Scheme, with Dairy Cow Black/White hide[-like] seats, saddlebags, etc. -- the finest example I have ever seen is a Pristine one at the H-D Dealership in Scottsdale, Arizona [Home of Barrett-Jackson Auto Auctions] with Only 200 Miles! Go See it!

A Rather Unique Aspect of this "Now No Longer Produced" H-D Heritage Softail Special is that the "Call Letters", or H-D I.D. ("FLSTN") was Formally and Officially "Retired" following the 1996 Production Year, after the Short 3-Year Run (As I understand it, a rather unpleasant Legal Action and/or formal Lawsuit ultimately forced Harley-Davidson to "retire" the Bike, for a number of years anyway). Yet, many Years Later, in about 2005, the FLSTN Heritage Softail was Reintroduced by Harley-Davidison. Yet, the Bike of Today (Which is Still Being Produced) looks much Different than the Earlier Production Bikes -- it is now the Heritage Softail Deluxe, identified again, this time around, as a FLSTN. Yet, as Terminator (now CA. Gov.) is famous for saying, "I'll Be Back", and in fact, it is....................!!!!!! (& Quite Popular at that) (I Verified ALL the Facts & Information Here Directly with a H-D Representative @ the Famous Manufacturing Headquarters save & except the Lawsuit part which H-D Headquarters was understandably reluctant to discuss!).
TURNING THE FOCUS NOW TO THIS ACTUAL 1996 H-D FLSTN, HERITAGE SOFTAIL SPECIAL MOTORCYCLE, as You See it Here, Some of the Wonderful & Unique Aspects of this fine Bike are as follows:
**** The Entire Engine was Replaced by Formal H-D Recall, by an Authorized H-D Dealership (& I Have ALL the Work/Repair Reciepts), and When Done, an Increased Power Plant was Installed -- A 17__ cc Displacement is what you see.
**** The ORIGINAL MILES on this near mint H-D Motorcycle is just UNDER 22,000, now 13 years old.
**** The Motorcycle is essentially ALL Original Equipment, as included at the time of Purchase over 13 Years ago (& Still Counting!), to include Original Saddlebags, Seat & Removable WindShield. Additional Equipment is limited to "Chrome Work" to the Hand Controls, Front & Rear Foot Rests and Elsewhere, and the Sissy Bar Set-up.
