thats my 1st car, 1986 v6 camaro, its a discrace to the name camaro i know. but i will admit, stock to stock v6 to v8(5.0l) the v6 2.8l will beat it off the line. over all some new parts on the small block will increase hp on the 305 very quickly. im only 15 and am still learning. so feel free to correct me if im wrong:) The guy i bought the v6 camaro off, told me i would need a tow truck to bring it home, he hadent even driven it, so my dad started it up and we drove it a 1 hour drive to my garage. i changed the oil and tranny fluid and filters blablabla and put new plugs and wires on her. and distributer cap. new airfilters and a very nice magna flow muffler. and dual pipes. and i put a 350$ jvc deck and 4 jvc speakers in it and it sounded awsome.

once i gained knowledge on vehicles i finally told myself its time to go for 8 holes, so i traded my v6 2.8l 86 camaro to some guy for his 1987 z28 5.0l v8 it runs ok. its got 4 10" mtx subs and 3 amps. it sounds pretty good. the paint is in OK condition and the body is great. i think i got a pretty good deal on her.

small block v8. i just put accel lead wires and plugs in it and a high performance modguel and rotor and cap. i got some chrome valve covers (HOLY FUCK THE GASGETS ARE HARD TO KEEP ON)

and could some1 give me some advice on this. right under the valve covers is that part i dont remember what its called( i think its heads) NOT HEADERS , the part withe the springs over the cylinders, well theres black sludge alllll over it and i dont know what i should do about it. can some1 tell me if i should just fill it back up with oil or take it off and clean it. thanks
and if any1 could give me some more tips and tell me some things i could to to my small block to increase hp that isent hard to do? thanks
