March 1st 2009: Just had some tune up work done on the engine, rotor button, distributor cap & a chemical cleaning of the fuel injectors. Incredible difference; may need wheelie bars...just kidding. & now when I stomp down on it, instead of the standard sulfur type smell common to GMC catalytic converters, it smells like burnt gunpowder; I thought it was my imagination or wishful thinking. But other people have noticed it too. May have something to do with the fact that the catalytic was changed when we added dual exhausts.
To answer a few questions; The grill - the Wolfeman & I made it out of stainless steel mesh & 3/8" stainless steel rod. Behind the grill are a couple of horns off of a Porsche, not quite the right sound, but it is still is not what people expecting to hear coming from a van.
The Ferrari prancing horse emblem is from Ferrari, bought it on eBay!
The body kit is from Stillen.
Thanks for looking!!!
In the begining,...

and LET THERE BE ROCK !

I drive it almost every day, even to church! The van is All Wheel Drive, it has over 270,000 miles on it, original engine & original transmission. No major repairs other than to replace the head gasket. The air conditioning compressor has been replaced twice, the water pump twice, altenator once. A rear half shaft has been replaced. That's about it other than routine maintainence.
Under the hood it has a K&N air filter, and added dual exhausts, I had to move the spare tire from under the van to make room for the extra pipes, the resonators make it sound like a GT racecar, it absolutley GROWLS when I get on the gas.
The wing has a diffuser on it and it really pushes the rearend down, you can feel it start to push down at about 40-45 mph. You can actually see it 'hunker' down to the road as I get up to speed. I have also added a rear anti-sway bar, between it & the spoiler, the handling in the curves has improved tremendously.
