June 12th 2009:  THANK YOU!!! CarDomain members for making me the Number One GMC in the world, again. I'm not worthy, . . . the rest of you guys build stuff that astounds me.  But, wait until the interior is done! I'm tellin' you, that I've got it figured out!

One other thing I've broken out my trusty, dusty & rusty Nikon 35mm SLR camera; that's one you actually put film into. & I have been lookin' at the van using different lens... 'see back in the day' we would actually put different lenses on a camera body... depth of field, perspective and such.    Uuh...anyways, as soon as I can find my Tiffen Enhancing filter I will post some more pics.

'See back in the day' we didn't have PhotoShop; we had to "make up" our own special effects.

March 1st 2009: Just had some tune up work done on the engine, rotor button, distributor cap & a chemical cleaning of the fuel injectors. Incredible difference; may need wheelie bars...just kidding. & now when I stomp down on it, instead of the standard sulfur type smell common to GMC catalytic converters, it smells like burnt gunpowder; I thought it was my imagination or wishful thinking. But other people have noticed it too. May have something to do with the fact that the catalytic was changed when we added dual exhausts.

3/11/09 This is the new door panel, the front seats are real close to being done!

5/8/09 Here is the almost complete seat base, they have built up the foam so the contours match the shape from back in the day, they also relaced the bottom of the seat support.

To answer a few questions; The grill - the Wolfeman & I made it out of stainless steel mesh & 3/8" stainless steel rod.

The Ferrari prancing horse emblem is from Ferrari, bought it on eBay!

The body kit is from Stillen.

Thanks for looking!!!

The big-assed APC two teir rearwing/spoiler, along with the rear anti-sway bar have dramatically improved the handling characteristics of the van. You can feel the spoiler start to push the rear end of the van down at about 40-50 mph. It has over 260,000 miles on it. Original engine, original transmission.

Street Scene Mirrors

The billet gas door was meant for a Jeep, I think it adds another dimension to the van.

The sound system is an old Alpine CDhead unit that AInets to my iPod, Alpine Sound Field Processor/Spectrum Analyzer that will feed my tried & true Denon 4 channel amp that drives a pair of Infinity full range 6.5"s, Clarion mids & Alpine tweeters, as my front channels. The rears are an old pair of carbonfiber Orion 6.5"s mid bass, filled by Rockford Fosgate 4X6"s. One Sub, but it is a 12" Orion H2 DVC, properly ported for ROCK SOLID bass, it is driven by my bullet proof Eclipse 4channel amp bridged to two channels.
K&N Air filter, custom made dual exhausts with resonators that simply make it growl, it sounds like a GT racecar, and a rear anti-sway bar.
