Got the Turbo just after returning from the Porsche Parade in Charlotte, with the GT3.
We found out that on the Fourth of July, the Blue Ridge Parkway is empty! Yes, we did smoke the GT3's tires.
Back to the car at hand.
Took it up to Lime Rock Park for the ALMS race, immediately after delivery. Scared the daylights out of my friend Marla. She's not used to my "enthusiastic" driving from the clocktower in Sharon, on CT rt 4 to the Housatonic River, where rt 4 meets rt 7. I love that piece of road. Not the Tail of the dragon, but invigorating.
Some of the photos are in the Porsche Platz at Lime Rock. Others in the garage at home. One is from the table at the restuarant we ate at. More photos to come, as I drive the car. It had 1001 miles on it yesterday.
This car is fast. The new hydraulic clutch is so light it's spooky. The overboost is totally unnecessary on the road... But
Fun on four wheels in black leather and balsalt black metallic paint.
