So I picked up this lovely lady at the end of July, 2008, from a gentleman in Gloucester, for a project. She's an 86, who's journey to being presentable was already well underway by the previous owner, who painted her all black (stage 1), repaired some body work, and did a couple of engine upgrades. She already has flowmasters. I've spent some time and money on suspension upgrades, such as all new struts, shocks and brakes, as well as tightening up and polishing the interior, fixing the clutch cable and shifter, putting in a new headliner, rear bumper, put in some lightly used 93 Cobra seats and matching passenger door panel, and replacing the 10-hole wheels with these 87-90 GT wheels. I'm looking to continue some engine upgrades, go with Eibach lowering sport springs, do a front-end rebuild shortly, along with some subframe connectors and upper/lower control arms. All in all I'm looking to turn this GT into a sleeper, a really tight world-class handler that can tear it up coming out of the corners as well.
