This page is where I'll post pics of newer mods, most not installed yet.

First up is the steering wheel... The stock wheel over 15" wide and thin as my pinky finger. I very much disliked it so I found a replacement on eBay. It looks good and feels much better. You'll notice the only guage I have is the oil pressure. The only one a car needs. : )

Next up are the brakes... The stock brakes are drums on all corners, and not very good drums at that. That was even one of the complaints in the Road & Track Road Test article I have. You have to plan your stops or just drive slow. They will be up for replacement with discs at all corners. Up front will be discs from an '73 850 Spider and rears will be discs from a '78 Fiat 124.

The stock drums are in the pic on the left. The right pic has the front set from my spare 850. It's nice that I can just bolt it right up!

But disc brakes won't fit the stock 12" steel wheels. Going to have to fit 13s. :) Any excuse, huh? Anyways, a friend ran across some new, old stock BWAs on craigslist, so I picked them up. No rubber yet, so I haven't mounted them. But I think they'll look very nice. Here is a test fit just to see what they'll look like.

Looks like I'll need to flare the fenders. : )

Here's something interesting I came by a couple of years ago...  It's known as a Graf Kit.  It replaces the duplex timing chain, gears, and cover with an exposed cogged belt system.  It'll fit the 767cc or 903cc motors with a little modification, but I think it was meant for the Autobianchi A112 cars.

I was going to install this on the 903, but, since I have to reverse its rotation, I can't use it very easily.  I sold it late last year to a guy that it putting it in his 850.  I'd love to see some pictures of how it turned out.
