I was looking for a first gen Z for years, and could never get one that was running or without a blown motor. Then after I stop lookin for one I find this 76 Z with no rust and a rough running motor. All it needed was a tuneup and it was runnin fine.
My plans at the moment are to install headers, a cold air intake, and get the exhaust done then lower her. I got way more plans but that's for later on After I get my 200SX finished. That's gonna take a long time so in the mean time I get to restore and drive this car. I'm gonna use it to learn alot of driving and racing techniques. I want this car and my Goose to be for autocross, hillclimb, time trials, lapping/track,road racing, and a little rally, and alot of drives on twisty mountain roads.

I'm mainly goin to focus on head mods, headers, an exhaust. Then eventually I will try and get, or make 6-speed an dohc head to fit the l28.

Awesome project. I too would like to have a "Z" in my garage to add to my MX5 Collection. Though my favourite Z is a 1971 240Z.
