I've added a few simple MODS to the Maxima over the last two years. My favorites include the most recent additions.

I ordered a 'NISSAN' symbol on Ebay that came from a Nissan Titan, so its extra big and I mounted it on a piece of bulk mesh grill that I purchased from customcargrills.com.

The paint was flaking off of the front bumper so I touched up the spots and covered it with a piece of clear bumper protector which has worked great so far.

I recently also added a strip of 3/4" reflective pinstriping all the way around the car. I like how it looks in the back and at night when it lights up as headlights hit it.
Also, I custom cut my own headlight 'eyelids' or covers from a piece of bulk dark headlight cover sheeting. I think I'm pretty much done with the MoDs.
I like to think of the Maxima as subtley unique. Nothing too loud or fancy, but enough to make it different.

No problems with the car so far, save for the starter makes a grinding sound at the end of most starts, I replaced it with a rebuilt one from EBay and so far has worked fine for the last 8 months. The 'check engine light' also comes on and off as it pleases, which is simply a glitch I've read about for this generation Maxima.
Here's an original pic of the Maxima, newly purchased in '05
I really like this specific year of the 00-03 Maxima series. The smoked tail lights really set it apart. I don't care for the clear taillight covers on the newer ones although I do love their grills and sharper rims, not to mention the HID headlights.
