UPDATE: My car got hit and now I'm installing a widebody kit. Page 2 has the details!!!
I bought this car when I was 15 with the intent of learning how to work on cars. Now, 7 years later, I have learned a lot and I have spent much more money than I wish to count.
When I bought the car it needed some maintenance but was a generally unmolested car, and I sure changed that in a hurry. The shocks were done so I pulled everything out, sanded, painted the suspension, and replaced the rubber with urethane.
A couple years later the motor started to run really rough. So, as my motto is "If it ain't broke don't fix it, and if it is make it BIGGER!!!" I opted for a bigger motor. And since everyone has a small block in their Z, I wanted something different. I settled on the 4.3L V6 because it is a lot lighter, I could get a lot better weight distribution, and they are rock hard and you can push some serious power out of them. After many years spending every bit of every paycheck on this thing I finally got it running, but only three days before I shipped off to boot camp for the Marines.
