k, so here's my 1986 volvo 740 GLE. I bought it off of my grandma in Vancouver, BC when I was 18. I'm 21 now. It's pretty safe to say that this car was never abused...until now.
When I got the car in 2005 it was in mint condition. My grandad used to restore cars and he kept this beauty in pristine shape.
Since I had it shipped from BC to Ottawa, where I am now, I've done minor modifications to it. But have many plans for it in the future. Gotta wait until I get my paycheques from my new job! =D

My first attempt at a modification...it's supposed to be a cold air intake. I rolled some sheet aluminum up, clamped it, and threw on a cone, haha!
Compare it to my purchased and current B&B cold air intake setup. Much better :) I also removed the factory air box that you can see in the 1st pic, and cleaned the engine bay!

Here is the set of rims that I've got, custom painted, awaiting a set of Falken Ziex ZE-912 195/60/15's to wrap them up before going on the car. They're the virgo style rims off a 240.
Dual 10" Rockford Fosgate subs, bumping about 1000w peak. Not bad, but I still get rattle from my trunk...HELP with that please. I think I'll fill the trunk lid with the sprayable insulation. I did it in my door panels and it completely eliminated all sounds! Cost only about $10 too!
A look at the dash. I think I want to paint this to go dark red...not that ugly burgandy, but a roasted red colour. Ideas? Which kind of paint do I use?
The custom enclosure on the 6x9 MTX Thunders in the rear window. I removed the 3rd brake light cover beacuse it would rattle when the bass hit.

Some views of the sides, front and rear of my ride. With a custom grill done by yours truly! Not sure if you can tell but the windows are all tinted.
This is when the arm rest is lowered in the back seat. I took out the little sliding door so you can look back into the trunk and see the lights on the capacitor and amp.
A look at the front from the back seats...ugly seat covers. I want to get some nice racing seats, but those cost a pretty penny.

Meh, forget about the 850's for now...I'll upload some pics of the new rims on my car tonight! I can't wait! (yea...didn't sell through eBay, oh well)
