Well it has been awhile since i have updated on here. Not much has happend to the cutlass since she went down. We looked around for a motor but didnt come up with anything decent. I didnt have anything done to the 330 other than have it cleaned at the machine shop. It gunna cost quite abit of money to rebuild so I am reviewing my options. Im currently driving a 77 El Camino piece of junk right now.. I put some more pics of the Cutlass up... Enjoy.

The car is currently sitting in the garage because the motor spun a rod bearing. We pulled the motor and tore it down and didnt like what we saw. Blown head gaskets, worn crank, worn cylinder walls, stuck butterfly valve on exsaust manifold, and a boat load of other problems. The block, crank, and heads are currently at the machine shop getting what they needed for a long time. We still arent sure how much we are going to put into the motor. Ill post more info and hopefully some more pics when I find out what exactly is going to happen.

History and Info
Im the proud owner of a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass. I purchased the car in mid Feburary. From what we could see the car was mechanically sound and pretty much intact. The interior to my suprise was actually fairly decent. After much research on the Interent and looking everywhere on the car for numbers, we determined that the motor was a high compression 330. My future plans include a body/paint job, 17" eagle rims and tires. Stay tuned for updates.

The trunk is in pretty good shape. There is no obvious rust but it does need the rear deck to be taken care of. The seats are in really good condition. The carpets and headliner do need to be replaced. I also need figure out what im gonna do with my dash panel.

Updates To Car
I lost track of what dates I did what so im just going to list what I did:

-painted all the rims
-got new points and condenser for distributer
-installed new spark plugs/wires
-replaced busted radiator hose.
-replaced old battery cables

March 1:
-Changed front passenger side brake drum because it was the wrong one.
-Added new brake shoes to front end.
-Painted passenger side rims because they were nasty.
-Got the passenger side fender dent out.

February 25:
-Fixed the turning signal module in the steering column because it was broken.

February 22:
-Put in new front springs because the previous owner cut them trying to lower the car. The car rides much better now.

February 8&15
-Fixed lights and turning signals and added a Edelbrock air cleaner.

Stay tuned for updates!
