DEAD PROJECT. Legal Battles - RIP Impulse
Picked up an (rear wheel drive) 85 Isuzu Impulse 2.0 Turbo bored/port-polish/shaved head/reboost-kitted. Got for free. Gonna do a full restore and modify thing on it. Was sitting for 8 years in a field. But only 500 miles on rebuilt motor and 90k on the whole thing. Right now it needs a LOT.
I work at an auto parts store and can generally get things fairly cheap, but I don't get paid enough anyway.

UPDATE 1:
Both new fuel pumps (the thing has 2 external pumps) are in, and tank was pulled and mostly cleaned, fixed the float/sender assembly.
Rims are almost done getting refinished to graphite center with silver lip.
Paint job is almost halfway complete, with the color of choice being "Grabber Green".
In a few days is scheduled a full teardown and rebuild with forged internals, port/polish again, a whole clean out and reworking. This thing is gonna MOVE. Finishing it up with a boost controller to be set somewhere around 10psi until I can grab a larger turbo, removal of the popoff, adding a blowoff, redoing the intake and adding larger injectors and removal of the AC system.
Exhaust expected to begin fabrication sometime later this weekend.
Rear brakes doing fine, front brakes at least need rotors (going to go with Brembo) and pads (highest quality I can get my hands on, likely Ceramic.) coming soon.
Plans in the works for some driving lights and some un-and-re-badging ("Tygur Custom Turbo" badging). And also clear side markers as well as a custom interior.
Still on the lookout for a manual transmission I can put in.
