Dear all,
I am a 28-year old Belgian MX-5 owner, living in New Zealand at the moment... Lived in Ireland for about 18months, the best time of my life! Then Netherlands for just over a year.
But now, immigrated to New Zealand with my fiancee, a kiwi girl. I know, my grandmothers have trouble keeping track of me too :-)

The first picture is taken when my MX-5 still had the striping which I liked a lot, but others weren't to impressed. I took off the striping again. Seems it looked to aggressive?! Read this real life story: one day two drunk man stepped out of there 4x4 at the stoplights, and started making trouble. We were on a road next to a canal and they asked me if I could swim??? I replied: "pretty good, but can you guys drive a car?", then took off, leaving them in smells and clouds of burned rubber... Morning after off went the striping. So got a nice Classic Red NA again.

21st July 2003: Garda? (Irish police) pulled me over twice because of euhm... there is no because! First time to check my ID and car papers, 2nd time because I pulled away too hard from traffic light, not exceeding max speed tho'! I attract to much attention being a young guy driving this car in Ireland. Once more byebye striping.

23rd April 2004: Have spent to much money on the car in the last 3 weeks, but hey life is short! Spoiled the car with a twin exhaust, a Hard Dog Deuce, some extra bracing under the engine, ...

8th May 2004: car overheated completely during a run through Dublin. Bugger! I changed waterpump, sensor, timing belt, ... job done at 168K km. Ready for more!

1st October 2004: Ahh well yes I moved back to the Old Continent, to Holland. Even better: to AMSTERDAM. Yesh I live in the shmokie shmokie city of the world LOL. Left my mates in Ireland behind and will miss them a lot, still on the website tho' www.mx5ireland.com. The coolest bunch of MX-5 people I ever met!
