My name is Norberto from Yabucoa, P.R. and I have a Suzuki LJ-80 around 12 years ago and I do many modifications to made what I do.

Motor: Toyota Corolla 1.8 3T 1981 modified
Trans: Toyota corolla 1979 5 speed
Diff: Ford Maverick with 5 bolt axes with Toyota Corona center
section satellites welded.(posi.)
Suspention: (Back)Full floating with ladder bars
(Front) Chevrolete Chevette complete cross member
system including steering system
Wheels: Weld Racing pro-star street legal version (wide/fine)
Roll bar: 8 points

many more mod's and my last project will be a Turbo...soon !!

Hi, Norberto, nice car :-) i'm eof from bulgaria. I want to ask u a question. i want to implant more powerfull engine (and 5-th gearbox) in my lj80 (1980) from what to take and use with minimum corrections? u know, just put in place? pls, send answer to eof@abv.bg

Thank you much, Norberto. I'm glad you like my wagon. I tried to keep it as original in and out as much as possible when I was working on it. From the engine, to the interior (if you notice even the seats are original), to almost everything. Even the color is an original to the Ford Escort Mark 1, called Olympic Blue. I believe that's where the value is. I almost got a Suzuki like that before but it did not materialize. Here it's called the Suzuki Beaver. Those are very good on mountain trails because of their short wheelbase. Take care of that 5-star ride! Thanks again. Check out my Nissan too if you have time. Cheers!!!
