Before and After...
This was pretty much right off the car lot and right out of the tint shop. Windows gotta be hit up off the flip.
First step was to get rid of the factory head unit.
Started with the Pioneer AVIC-D3, eventually getting rid of it, all pioneers are 2 and 2.2 volt preamp out, which doesnt really work for me because I want my subs to be alot hotter and your amps really need 4 volt and up to work that. But for now it works.
Got the navigation bezel for the dash from Dodge, it came woodgrain, I took it to my local bodyshop and had it painted the same color as the truck.
Got the PS3 slimline...
...and had it hardwired into the console and went with the wireless controllers
Got the 17inch flipdown in the back, tapped in off the headunit and the PS3
Cant see shit out the back when friends in the back seat have that big ass flatscreen down, so I installed the back-up camera. Got it set up were it automaticly comes on when the truck is in reverse and I can click it on when I am going down the road to, works pretty good at night to actually.
Got the JL 500/1 wired in under the drivers seat.
Stuck a 2 farad cap in behind the drivers seat, to keep a steady power to the amp.
Went with the Kenwood eXcelon shallow mount 10's
Tried the upfired box, it wasnt hitting hard enough,
So I switched to the downfired box, it seemed to hit a little harder, but I am going to start in doing some research cause niether one is taking me where I wanna go, and I do NOT wanna lift the back seat, and I do NOT want to lose any seat space and have some box sitting on the seats.
Got the Alpine PDX 4.400 to fit perfectly under the passenger seat to run my door speakers.
I dynamatted the front and rear doors to knock out vibration.
And I dropped some Kenwood eXcelon 6x9's in the front doors and some JBL 5 1/4's in the back doors, probably gonna step up to some Focal componant sets for the 5 1/4's cause these JBL's are not keepen with the Kenwoods at higher volumes well at all.
Went with the Viper 5900 with two way page and remote start to protect my investment.
Got the Component 516L and the 508D dual zone motion sensor, and got them rigged up to the viper so when someone even gets close to the truck there are pre recored or personilized recored messages that you can have the alarm say to people. I personally like the ol "Warning, this vehicle is protected by Smith and Wesson" violaters will be shot".
The hood I have been looking at.
So ya, I went ahead and got the setup, and had it painted and put it all on. Total night and day differance. Runs tons better, sounds better, more horsepower, even mpg differance. Worth every penny.
Put the Air Raid throttle body spacer on, didnt really notice any differance in how it runs or mpg, about the only thing that I noticed was a little bit of a whistle like a turbo or supercharger when I am really getting on it.
Cut off my exhaust, tail pipe and all, and did a Super 44 with a turn down right out the back of the thing pointed towards the ground, best investment on the truck I have made so far. Son of a bitch shakes the ground. Tail pipes are over rated.
Got the Hypertech Programmer, was going to do the Super Chip, but after talking to my mechanic and a few guys at Jegs who told me they are getting alot better feedback with the Hypertech. I love the thing, I was able to change my top speed, shift points, do the tuning, change my computer for the bigger wheels when I get them, all types of shit. Its bad ass, truck runs like a race car now, and still gets good mpg.
Put the 22 inch wheels on it, and the 35 inch Nitto Terra Grapplers, the billet upper grill and lower grill insert. Got the big chrome lower insert from Dodge. Got the nerf bars, truck box, and chrome door handles.
Got the LED tail lights and third brake light from Recon.
Had to do a 2 inch lift on the front and back to get the wheels and tires to fit. 35's on duece, dueces.
After doing all the research, this is the sub box to take me were I wanna go with this truck. These things are pulling 1000 rms a piece at 1 ohm.
The technology, blood, sweat, and tears put into this box is unreal, and its ported. Gerald Kirkland from Pro Box is the man... www.proboxrocks.com any technical questions, give him a call: Gerald (972) 571-5330 tell him Jeremy from Missouri sent you. But trust me, this box will take you were you wanna go, as well as any of his other boxes for any other vehicles.
Had to do the Rockford T20001bd to power these massive subs, thing fits perfectly behind the back seat. Thank God cause I dont know where the hell else we would put it.
Replaced my main battery under the hood with the Big Boy Stinger SP2150, this thing does 5000+ max amps and 2150 amps in 5 second bursts.
Ripped the Pioneer out and went with the Kenwood eXcelon DDX812, this 5 volt Preamp out powerhouse, gets my amps were I need them. And the ipod interface is bad ass.
Hard wired in the 120 gb video iPod, the ipod interface on this thing is sweet.
Sometimes you gotta get a little mud on the tires...

The new aero turbine 3030 exhaust I bought to replace the flowmaster. I am hoping it will give me less drone when the MDS kicks in on the highway and the motor drops down to 4 cyl on the highway... Alot of the forums I have read say its the best to help that.
